This is the iconic DW-9500SR-8T Surfrider Foundation edition, released in May 1998 and produced in Japan (Y). Part of the early G-Lide surf collection, this model combined durability with practical surf-focused features that made it stand out even among other 90s G-Shocks.

This unit includes the original nylon surf band, thermometer, and auto electroluminescent backlight. The display is clean, sharp, and fully functional. A new battery has been installed and all features operate as they should.

Condition

Worn with visible wear marks, scuffs, and ageing to the resin parts – fully expected for a 1998 Japan-made G-Shock.

No cracks or structural damage.

The screen is in good condition, clear, and fully responsive.
