Summary

The Seven Deadly Sins and Punishments (七つの罪と罰) is the second major-label album by mothy (Akuno-P), released by Warner Music Japan in 2015. Rather than introducing an entirely new story, it revisits the central “Seven Deadly Sins” saga within the Evillious Chronicles, compiling many of the series’ best-known songs into a single cohesive album.

The album contains fifteen tracks, including the newly written title song The Seven Deadly Sins and Punishments, alongside refined and remastered versions of classic Vocaloid works such as The Daughter of Evil, The Servant of Evil, Evil Food Eater Conchita, Judgement of Corruption, and The Lunacy of Duke Venomania. Collectively, the songs recount approximately one thousand years of events within the fictional world of Evillious. 

Featuring Kagamine Rin and Len alongside Hatsune Miku, KAITO, MEIKO, GUMI, Megurine Luka and Kamui Gackpo, the album represents one of the most complete introductions to the musical side of the Evillious universe.

Release & Version Details

This entry documents the standard Japanese edition (WPCL-12052), supplied with its original OBI strip.

The standard edition includes:

• Single audio CD
• 15-track album
• Standard jewel case
• Front booklet with lyrics and artwork
• Original OBI strip

It was released simultaneously with the limited edition (WPCL-12051), which included an exclusive approximately 150-page original novel and special packaging. Aside from the packaging and bonus novel, both editions contain the same music. 

Unlike the earlier independently released Evils Theater and the major-label Evils Kingdom, this album serves as a retrospective collection, bringing together the principal “Deadly Sins” storyline in a single release.

This release deserves preservation because it represents the definitive musical collection of the Seven Deadly Sins storyline during the height of the Evillious Chronicles’ popularity.

• Do not confuse it with WPCL-12051, the limited edition containing the exclusive novel.
• The booklet should remain securely attached by both staples, with no moisture damage or page separation.
• Jewel cases are easily replaced, so the presence of the original inserts and OBI is more important when documenting authentic copies.
